Hi,

Our family is visiting Wellsboro for your upcoming Dickens of Christmas
w/e. I see that you are offering tours and a luncheon that day. Is that for
members only, or for the public. Can you give me any more information?

Sincerely,

Judy Petz

Hi, I was looking up information on Wellsboro, PA because I am going there in a couple of days to spend the day with my in-laws. They go up every year around Christmas for shopping and just love the gas lit streets and scenery. I am from Quakertown, PA and my in-laws are from Sellersville, PA.
I will have to look for your church while there, it looks like a beautiful one! Have Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy new year!

Sincerely,
Brenda Weidemoyer

Greetings from Iraq...

Hi, my name is John. I found your site because I wanted to see what was going on over there... This church will always be a part of my life... it was where I went to mass with a very loving family... it was where a very significant part of my past happened... maybe someday, somehow, with the help of GOD I will attend another mass and visit the caring family whom I will never forget...

Take care,

JC

Hi!

Here I am at work ,looking for a website for The Upper Room and found you.God works in mysterious ways His presence to unfold.

I was able to read so many of your past sermons which blessed my soul, hence I will be back- on a daily basis. Thanks. (I still have to search

for the upper room!)

Hi!

I found your link while researching Alpha Program. I see that you started a series on 02/17/04. We are considering this at Rivermont Presbyterian, Chattanooga, TN. I would love to hear from someone from your congregation regarding this program.

Thank you,

Jan Varnell

Good Afternoon,
My name is Anita and I live in New Jersey. I was born here in my Grammom's house in 1938. My husband & I lived in Wellsboro for about a year, 1989 to 1990. We lived in an upstairs apartment a short distance from The Downtown Timesaver store and the Acme market. I had a part-time job in both of them. My husband, John, could not get work in Wellsboro~~so we came back to New Jersey.

I just wanted to make contact with some good Christian people because I would like to visit again before I go to be with the Lord. I want to see Asaph and Hills Creek and get homemade ice cream from the little store by the overlook road. Such a beautiful town you live in. We would spend whole days riding around the Mountains enjoying God's bounty there. I really enjoyed the "Dickens of a Christmas", all the nice people and quaint stores.

Where we live now is just a few minutes from Atlantic City, with it concrete & glass buildings and too much traffic and people. We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment through the Governments Section 8 Program in a large complex of apartments. I have been Disabled for 10 years and John has not found steady work here either. I still dream of a one room cabin in the Hills by Asaph with a stream to provide water and energy. My plan was to get 2 Apploosa horses and a small sleigh/wagon to come to Wellsboro to shop for necessities.
I have a picture above my bed of a cabin by a stream in the mountains and I visualize us up there in our "OWN" little Paradise. I have very few pictures of Wellsboro but keep all of the beauty of our experience there in my heart & mind as those days there are still very "Precious" to me and warm my heart often.

God bless you & your family~~may God keep you nestled in the Serenity of Wellsboro, doing His work, untill He returns.

"A Flat-lander but not by Choice."

Glad I could help...and glad I spoke up. You have an excellent
site! First Presbyterian at Wellsboro looks to be a vibrant and active
place. With all the current information available, it must take a lot of
updating. I, who have no home church at present, really appreciate being
able to read Pastor Greer's sermons each week.

Thanks for putting the good stuff out there-

Ann Smith

My name is Diane Poff and I live in Muncy, PA. I am the Administrative Assistant for the Presbytery of Northumberland in Montoursville.

My newest assignment at work is to create a newsletter using Microsoft Publisher 2000 (which I am in the process of learning!) to publish a newsletter for the Presbytery. I am searching the web tonight for ideas on layout, etc. This is new to me and I need all the help I can get.

Your newsletter is probably one of the best I have seen this evening.

I always thought Wellsboro was a very beautiful little town.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to contact you.

Dear Pastor Greer,

Thanks for responding so quickly to our visit. And we enjoyed seeing
and talking with you at the Library Monday morning. This was our second
visit to your church, and we enjoyed the fellowship and worship experience.

Hi
We were browsing guest books to get ideas for our site.
We like the way the "come and worship" words follow you.
By the way, we work with a christian company that is
looking for quality people who want an additional
$1,000 or $2,000 a month income helping folks with a
number of concerns that they face.

Dear Members of the First Presbyterian Church,

My name is Kimberley Goodrich Fisher.  I am spending today searching the web for mention of my grandfather, Warren M. Goodrich.  Your web page came up...the prayer page.  I want to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your love and care toward my grandfather, and for your prayers on his behalf.  I know he enjoyed being a part of your congregation and you enlarged and blessed his life with your fellowship.

We, his family, all live quite a ways away from Wellsboro (although I've enjoyed visiting it a number of times-back in the 70's) so it is comforting to know he had many connections and friends there who cared for him.  As you know, he was a special and unique individual.

Anyway, thank you for everything you have done for him, and thank you for your continued prayers for Connie.

With love,

Kim

Hello there,

I am the Session Clerk for St. Stephens Presbyterian Church, Hamilton South,
New Zealand, and also the webmaster for our web presence at   www.st.stephens.org.nz

I have enjoyed a brief look around at your web page, and will be  back soon
when I have a little more time for a browse.

I found your page after following back a referral entry to our web page's
counter log - the referral was from google to pages with Presbyterian and
bulletins.

All the very best from New Zealand,
